Meeting Venue: All lectures will be given in the International Conference
Hall, Kyongju Temf Hotel, in Kyongju, Korea.
Official Language: English
Oral Presentation: Time allowed to invited speakers is 30 min (25 min for presentation and 5 min discussion) and to contributed speakers is 20 min (15 min for presentation and 5 min discussion).
Poster Presentation: Poster panel is 90 cm in width and 120 cm in height. Please put posters during the lunch time of September 9 (Thu). Poster session will start from 16:00 pm in the lobby of the Conference Hall.
Registration: The registration fee is 20,000 yen for Japanese participants (5,000 yen for students) including Welcome party (September 9 (Thu)) and Reception (September 10 (Fri)). Details will be announced in the second circular.
Schedule
Abstract: Abstract should be typed on A4 paper (1 or 2 pages) in English
(Camera Ready). Deadline is June 30, 1999. Registration: July 31, 1999.
Manuscript: The proceedings of this forum will be published as a special issue of Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals (Gordon and Breach Science Publishers). The manuscript (camera-ready) should be submitted to the secretariat of KJF'99 by August 31. The details of manuscript preparation will be sent to the authors after abstract submission.
Excursion: Excursion tour will be arranged at the afternoon on September 10 (Fri); (1) Sightseeing Tour of Kyongju, (2) Pohang Steel Co. Details will be announced in the 2nd circular.
Hotel Information: Hotel information will be given in the 2nd circular to be issued by June 30, 1999.
